You can't actually have like 4800 jpegs, its too many and would take forever to load, it already takes extra long but with over like 100 or something it would be eally slow. Plus I hear it skips A LOT for videos and some for music. I don't think its worth the $180 (USD) price tag. I haven't heard about the warrenty you're talking about but I doubt it is 10 years, damn thats way too long.

it's not really. i may transfer something 2 gig's, but i start something else when it's doing it and may not look back for an hour or two, so it dosent matter if it takes 15 minits or 20 min to transfer, it's all the same to me.

2GB sticks aren't over $200 (not anymore). Before Christmas season, they already had dropped in price. I think it was actually in September (2 months after I bought my 1GB

). They retail at about 150 and can go down to 120 and that was in October. Prices might have dropped since then too. 1GB are easily obtainable as well for only $60, so I suggest not getting the hard drive as it's not worth the money.

i dont under stand you? useing your own prives, 4 one gig sticks is $240 (at 60 each, like you said) or two two gig sticks is also $240 (figuering the VERY low prive of 120 that you said was possible)
so thats a min of $240 for 4 gigs, the HDD in question is $180 for 4 gigs. your argument make no rence from a monatary standpoint.
and it really isnt a HDD, i cant hear any moveing parts, it's just a 4 gig CF card i think, so in theory, you could open it and buy more CF cards to use

yeh i heard it wasnt all that great either. Its makes the psp a little to bulky. The psp size is jus perfect the way it is. Doesnt seem to portable if you add that other stuff on. I rather jus get a 2gb card.
