hi everyone well ive got my psp for 6 months now but i didnt knew about homebrew till now and i have version 3.71, there is a way i can downgrade it?

yes but you have to use pandoras battery.

I got a psp bout a week ago and started download some games
now i have download Kiss Of Deaths Bleach heat the soul 5
and have extracted the files and ended up with


one called "PSP_GAME" and "UMD_DATA"bin file

inisde the PSP_GAME theres "SYSDIR" and "USRDIR"
I have nno clue wat this is when I put it on my PSP its comes up as corrupted....


My psp is 3.04 OE-A atm
should I upgrade to somfin better?

This is a common mistake; the file you extracted was the ISO file, but WinRAR (or similar) auto-associates with it so you've accidentally extracted the contents of the ISO. If you copy the original file you downloaded to "ms:\ISO\", it should at least try to run it.

New problem when I run the ISO ifter the gameboot its just a Black screen and it auto turns off.... dry.gif

In that case you might need to upgrade to 3.52 M33 or above.

To get to the latest version you can do:
3.40 OE-A - 3.52 M33 - 3.52 M33-4 - 3.90 M33-3

All custom firmware can be found on Dark_AleX's site.
All EBOOT files can be found on PSP-Hacks.

hey umm, im a total noob but im not noobish :/ lol umm i am going to buy a new PSP slim, will it be capable of homebrew and using ISOs and stuff like that? will it be able to use the newest custom firmware? cheers for ur help smile.gif

yeah you can but you will need a pandora battery to make it custom firmware

y not just get a pandora battery to be able to get custom up to 3.71m33, then you can just dl isos on it and play as long as you have a umd in the drive?
