okay I have a Phat PSP with 3.90-m33-2 CFW, and the 1.5 Kernel, Im running Vista on my PC..
from what i understand I can softmod my battery and use it in his Slim right? okay..
and I need to make a MMS.. how do you make one in VISTA not XP? and when I DO make one, will it work in a slim AND a phat?
from there how do I go about the rest of the modding???

You are right that you need to soft-mod your battery and make a MMS.
However, you don't need to use your PC to do that.
If you use something like UPMS it will do it all for you on your PSP.
