I am having a weird problem where I push the "home" button and it would go home and would mute my psp. My sound button no longer works. My display button works but not after I hold it down and turn off the screen. Then only way to turn the screen back on is to use power button. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Did you do anything recently to your psp?

Even so, theres little you can do that I know of except get it repaired.

sad.gif ... only thing I know is that I haven't use it for a while and I just started to use it again recently... and I noticed that problem. So you think it's something physical internallY?

It definitely sounds like a physical problem, like the contacts have misaligned or something.

yeah, did you maybe take the faceplate off once and the put it back on?

Or maybe when you haven't using it, did it dropped?
Master Yun
I've never taken off the faceplate... just dropped it few times... and mostly play it when i travel. I'm going ot open it up and see if I can see anything wrong with it soon... I'll let you guys know... Thanks for all your replys.

I quick fix might include movie the buttons on the bottom with the flat edge of a knife. All the buttons are attached to each other so moving one would move the other. This probably won't help, but I thought I'd suggest it. just down push hard or you'll break it.
