Try this link: http://www.jiwire.com/

Its got a Hotspot locator, and it'll tell you which ones are free and which cost money.

If you want to play wi-fi at home all you need is a USB access point, Newegg.com has some for only around $15-20.

what do you mean just a USB port and what is $20 on newegg.com ? by the way my family and i were out side a mcdonald's and going through the drive thru and saw a sign that said "Wi-fi Access" so i turn on my psp and get on the web broswer and find a signal at 74% and tryed it but some error sign came up and then we drove away so i could not try again.so how do you get it to pop up the web page?

you probably had to stick a dollar in the wifi machine at the mcdonalds for it to work

are you talking about the LINKSYS Wireless Network Adapter? because i though that you had to have a internet provider to use it ?

WEll, i was guessing that you had the internet, as you are posting on an internet message board.

And no, that product will only work if you have a linksys wireless router. I was referring to something like this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16833135112

Im sure you can find them a lot cheaper on ebay. The reason why you couldnt hook up to the wifi at Mcdonalds is that you have to pay (as you'd know if you looked at the link i gave in my original post.)

by internet i mean high speed like brodband ? but all i have is 56K in slow mo mad.gif but will it still work? i looked at http://www.jiwire.com/ and it did not say it was free so that means you have to pay but i payed $50 for my 2x cheese burger smile.gif would this be the same but i differant brand?Click to view attachment

Yes, thats the kind of thing you'd need. Though knowing Linksys, while they are a good brand (my wireless router is a Linksys) its probably a lot more expensive than a product by the 'less known' brand (which probably has the same quality)

do i need brodband to make it work or do you not know ? sorry this post is late but i haven't ben on in a wile sad.gif
