Well just today, the system idle processes was like 99 all the time, so I turned the comp off and rebooted. Now when I turn it on, the task manager doesn't refresh, when I press the shortcuts the shortcut properties come up.

And when I get firefox or something open I cant type letters, if I press things like f file comes up, s save as comes up etc.

The last thing I know is downloading AVG because my nortons running out. When i opened it it did take a while for the setup screen to come up and my computer went a bit jerky.

I just deleted the files, should I run a virus scan or what ?

Not to say that this is what happened to you but that happened to me once before and i freaked out. turned out my alt key was stuck down. other than that i have not idea what that is.

You might have a virus. Run a scan. Once you have ran it check for viruses. Delete any if your computer has found them.

And that firefox thing occasionally happens, i have no idea what causes it. And if your pc is just totally fucked up, just re-install windows. That should fix everything up.

The best way which i always solve such problems.. Backup yr files n reformat.. A brand new start..

But if you are choosing to re-format, make sure you don't have a virus because if you back everything up then you are backing up the virus. So be careful if you are re-formatting.
