Ok,

So I'm a game collector. I recently purchased a Atari 5200 system on ebay. My first transaction since I got a new Gateway with Vista Home Premium installed. I go to pay and what's this? The Paypal site won't load up.
I go directly to the site instead of the ebay link....nope. So I write the seller and explain things and he sends me a direct link to pay. Nope. So I write him back and he sends me the number for paypal. Apparently they hide it on their site....not that the site would load anyway...So I call them and they say there's no problem on their end...must be my ISP....even though that's the only site that won't load. So I call my ISP and he walks me through bypassing all the protection that IE7 and Vista use...I disable phish filtering, anti-virus, firewalls, you name it...nothing seems to work. I install Firefox...same result...connection times out. Every other page I try loads right up. I call paypal back....get the runaround...I offer to pay over the phone..I had the routing code ready...but I'm told it's against their policy...by someone that can barely speak english...My ISP gave me the number for Microsoft, and I'll probably call them soon. I called a friend up and walked him through making the purchase for me. I even went so far as to restart vista in safe mode with networking and paypal still would not load. So I search the web and find that multiple people are having issues with vista. I still haven't found anyone that's had the same problem though. Still looking for a solution. Just my rant for the day...

well i have vista and i have yet to have that problem so maybe im just lucky

I have Vista too and I have no problems at all with ebay and paypal and I use them on a daily basis.
