they have blank umds? i tryed opening the demo 1 and putting it in my laptop but the hole in the middle wouldnt fit

Yea, Wal-mart sells blank UMD's for 50 cents each, next to the mod chips and 2.5 downgraders.

there could be some good points to blank umd's and a umd writer but i think its better that we can run games and other media of the mem stick myself. less to carry around with you
like why carry cd's round when you can just take an mp3 player
