Evil Avatar is reporting that local Target stores have been pulling Manhunt 2 off their store shelves in response to the recent events where some hackers uncovered adult content within the game.
Even though the ESRB themselves remained firm with the game's M rating, it looks like Target is taking no chances and is removing the game from its stores.
According to the source, all Target managers are required to stop selling the game, including refusing shipments of the game for all systems. Also Take-Two agreed to take back all unopened copies of the game.

Well once again, retail has decided what is "best" for us. Y'know said it once I'll say it again, a video game is JUST that a video game. I like video games espically violent ones, they're great stress releievers. When I play a video game I play it for the gameplay, the graphics, the overall goodness of it, not so I can go out an cap someone because I saw it on a Manhunt. As parents, if your child decides to take their values from a video game, then it's YOUR fault, NOT the video game developers. But whatever helps you sleep at night I guess, always looking for something to blame, never willing to blame yourself.
