So I know emulating old games is possible on the PS2, but not without having mod chips and swap magic and yada yada.

I haven't found any credible information on whether or not there can be emulation without the PS2 being modded or having swap magic. I have the flip top slim model and I read a couple rumblings that it's been figured out that you can emulate with the slim model without modding or anything but only snippets and no real information...

I'll try to find it for ya, I had this thing called HD loader for my fat ps2 and it would load games off the hard drive, and I think there was a version for the slim line . Im having a hard time cause I think it has been taken off the net. I'll post here if I find it.
