Has anyone bought a psp recently?
If so, what version was the firmware?

If not, does anyone know how you can tell what version it is without opening the box?

well a friend of mine bought a new psp from Game last week, that came with version 2.50 firmware.

i bough mine on nov 19th, was vs 1.5, stupidly i updated it bu accedint

As far as I know, you could tell the version of the PSP at the bar code. It will be either 1.0, 1.5 etc.

I just got one for XMas. It was the value pack with the black faceplate and it was 1.52. I thought I was screwed but luckily the downgrader is available, so I upgraded to 2.00 then downgraded to 1.50

The 32mb Pro Duo is worthless besides savegames, so i'm looking for a good price on a 2gb pro duo
