Has anyone bought a psp recently?
If so, what version was the firmware?

If not, does anyone know how you can tell what version it is without opening the box?

If this question has already been answered, let me know which thread it is.

As far as I know, you could tell the version of the PSP at the bar code. It will be either 1.0, 1.5 etc.

I just got one for XMas. It was the value pack with the black faceplate and it was 1.52. I thought I was screwed but luckily the downgrader is available, so I upgraded to 2.00 then downgraded to 1.50

The 32mb Pro Duo is worthless besides savegames, so i'm looking for a good price on a 2gb pro duo tongue.gif
