Okay, so I'm at my towns Wal-Mart, (in Port Allen), driving up with my dad, expecting to see at LEAST 30 or so people ( Port Allen is a very rural area) . So I get there, and at first, there are only two people besides me waiting...Then, about 10 more people arrived...So then, I'm just talking to the other gamers, getting their gamertags and such, and we ALL realize that it's 12:00....We get PISSED, needless to say, at how not one of Wal-Mart's staff people are there..So, my dad goes to get one of the managers and at 12:01, I became the 1st person in my town, under 17, to get HALO 3!!! ( I know that for a fact because Wal-Mart is the only place to get games in Port Allen, and there were NO other people under 17 there...) So I was pretty proud at that. I haven't even played the game yet...Not just cause of school, but because I feel the need to savor this moment for a while...If you think about it, there will NEVER be a game as revolutionary as the Halo series. Halo 1 set the standard for FPS shooters for the original xbox so many years ago...So, I guess this afternoon, I'll take the next step to FINISH THE FIGHT!!!

I bought Halo3 on launch night. And so far I like it. I am at the final battle already. I was a halo hater and now I am keeping quiet about it.

I mean i see what he means. GOW is good but it's not like halo. Many people have said gears is like halo. Which may be true. I mean Halo brought FPS to a whole new level.

GOW and halo ''feel'' different to me IMO

GOW doesn't compare to Halo 3. Don't get me wrong though GOW is a pwnsome sick-ass game but I've just lived with the Halo series for years so naturally I like it more.

Halo 3 is so over hyped. It is a good game but thats bout it. Its a fps how good can it be.
