At last! We promised a solution to help people trapped on firmware v3.11 by Sony's dirty tricks, and here it is.

As you may know, if you have a TA-082/TA-086 motherboard , then if you downgraded your PSP to v1.50, its idstorage keys will have been patched during downgrading to avoid bricking. The latest official Sony firmwares (3.30 onwards) detect this patch, and refuse to allow you to upgrade. Without a hardware solution, this can leave you trapped on v3.11 firmware, with no way to upgrade, and no way to downgrade.

This release consists of HEN for v3.11, plus a v3.11 downgrader, and an idstorage key fixer for v3.11. This allows you the choice of either

1. staying on v3.11 to run homebrew
2. downgrading to v1.50 to run homebrew or install custom firmwares, or
3. upgrading to official Sony firmwares v3.30 or beyond.

but this uses the lumines exploit. so its pretty much the same as 3.03 for gta or 3.5 for lumines. this is mainly for the people that had ta-82/86 boards that got stuck because of a bad id storage. as is known 3.3 official started checking id storage so you could not update past 3.11 so if you ended up on 3.11 you were stuck there not being able to updgrade or downgrade. this offers the option to downgrade using lumines or fix the id storage so you can go to a higher official firmware.

Yeah, I've realised that now, it isn't as great as I initially thought as it uses the same exploit (Lumines UMD) as the 3.50 downgrader.

so can i downgrade to 1.5 and then either upgrade to cfw or ofw from 1.5 or just cfw??? cause with the 5th key the way it is you cant upgrade to ofw from 1.5. i wanted to sell my psp at 1.5 but i will only do it if it can go to ofw or cfw from 1.5 with out going to 3.11 and the hen and upgrading.

as i said in your other thread asking about the key cleaner, with the 5th key patched you cannot update past 3.11. to fix the key you have to update to 3.11 use the hen loader and key fixer. then you can go past 3.11 ofw to wateer you want. howeer there is no point in this unless you want to stick with ofw. but this is the only way to fix it and go to ofw. so like i said in the other thread patch it yourself and sell it on ofw. keep it on 1.5 and tell them its a ta-082. or sell it with cfw. those are your only options.
