hi all i got my psp new in may this year and tonight i was playin gta lcs na the game crashed now it wont load games ???? please help!!! thanks dal ps it aint been droppped or near water near it

hi ...... its 2.81 i aint modded it or anything ...... iv tryed puttin my finger on the udm button and the laser lights up and i think the disk is spinnin .... ow S"%t i how it aint screwd its sayin the disk can not be read

umm maybe the umd reader is broken? maybe u should get it checked out or something

you could always bring it back where you bought it or call sony.

just got off the phone from sony they are sendin a courier to pick mine up and drop off a recon one ....

Well im guessing that if his fw version is 2.81 that it might be passed it warranty but have you tried other umds?

He just said its been taken care of by Sony. No worries.

dont touch the laser in the umd drive that reads the UMDs. -.- obviously that will screw it up

Really? Sony sent you a PSP with 2.71 firmware? That is surprising.
To "mod" your PSP (not sure exactly what you mean by that), you'll probably have to downgrade to 1.50 first.
Then install custom firmware, such as 3.40 OE-A by Dark_AleX.
