well its really easy to take out the cd from the UMD casing, i realized that just now, what the next problem is, are there dvd r the size of UMD's?
i would just write the iso's to the dvd-r then pop it in the umd case the use it on the psp. as of now i cant afford a 4gb mem card

You can't get blank UMDs, and even if you could you would need a special UMD writer (which you also can't get).
UMDs are not just mini-DVDs (which do exist) in a case.
So I think you will need to save up for a 4GB memory stick.

yeah ur right i did some research and even if there was a blank umd id need the umd drive. its way smaller than the current mini dvds that only hold 1.4gb, UMDs hold 1.8gb.. ima save up for that MS

The UMD drive in the PSP and the UMDs for it are read-only, so you can't replace the files, no.
