Also I read forum another site, they said Halo 3 done 44% that mean Halo 3 will coming soon this summer or fall.

Ah halo 3,
the series has brought me much joy, i was dissapointed with the second installment as it was over-hyped by the media, well h3 is in early development, much has yet to be tweaked so get exited as yet,
The main console is not out yet so the title is inferior at the moment,
but never-the-less this game will be a definate charter.
As for the release it is much to early to predict.

Halo 3 will probably be delayed just like original Halo for xbox. Wasn't Halo supposed to be a launch title for Xbox?? Then it came out like 2 years later or something?? lol

Same here. I loved HALO and was slightly disappointed by HALO 2 at first but now when I replay HALO, I notice the differences and it makes me appreciate HALO 2 all the more. So now I love HALO 2 (Multiplayer more than Story mode - HALO's story mode is much better than the sequel)

I hope they sort out the story mode in this one!

Man I got my Xbox 360 for 'Final Fantasy XI' Halo 3 is good too though!

In case I buy a XBOX 360, I'd do it for playing Resident Evil 5 (as I did with Gamecube for Resi. 4) and of course Halo 3.
Hope it can keep up the high niveau the previous titles had...

Halo was a launch title... It was halo 2 that came out like 2 years later. Also there has been no launch date confirmed for halo 3 yet so any stores taking preorders are just trying to make money.

It better should be as it is one of those biggest and highly expected games in the future. This game could give XBOX 360 another push...

i think that xbox would have like 2 people playing it if there was no halo lol ....halo3 will be the last halo i think the next xbox will suck since there will not be any more halo after #3

Just thought i would point out the a supposed official letter is floating around saying there will be no halo 3 in 2006, take this with a grain of salt though.

Halo 3 will be good, (hopefully more like the original), but is that a microphone on the end of the gun??? look at the pic on the 1st page.

I never really did get too into Halo. Sure, it's a good game and is the first console FPS to be done "right". However, it's greatly overshadowed by the offering of PC titles. Plus, aiming with the controller isn't nearly as accurate as aiming with a mouse.

Food for thought: Halo 1 was a good game because it was 100% original at the time. Halo 2 wasn't as good because it was the continuation of a franchise and therefore not original. We had seen it all already Plus, the cliffhanger ending was a joke, but that's my opinion.

Other note: I find PC gaming to be vastly superior to console gaming, but that's just me

That picture does not look like Halo. It looks more like Quake 4 or F.E.A.R. for PC.Speaking of Halo, the film is supposed to come out in 2007 and will be made by Peter Jackson and the director of Hellboy.

Mercuri you talk about pc gaming being far superiour i in many respects agree with you and find that i spend more time gaming on my pc than anywhere else and incase you didn't know it might interest you to know that Halo was infact never started for the xbox bungie were bought by microsoft when they had already started developing the game for the mac and pc port but microsoft made sure it was brought out on the xbox first.

The screen shot is fake i just thought i would clear this up so there is no confusion. The fact remains that bungie has not even said there will be a halo 3 although it is obvious there will be they are keeping extremely tight lipped about it all so there is no way they would leak a screenshot for a game they haven't even announced.

I would not just buy a 360 for just Halo 3. It's just one good game. PS3 is gonna have more exclusive titles and will have better games. I never really liked Halo. I thought the game was overated.

This is unfounded and just personal opinion lets remember no one has really seen any game footage yet for the PS3 so everything you are stating is just personal opinion or rumours.

When people claim that PS3 is better then something else, that is what I call an "assanine newb". Those type of people are very common. Actually we have seen game footage. Over at one of the game convetions they showed some "real time" Killzone 2 footage.It looks insane, and a lot of people are stating that it is just a trailer or opening cinematic. Seeing snap shots of Devil May Cry 4 I kinda believe Sony now...

Hale is the only reason id probably buy an xbox 360, no diss to the xbox because its great i am just waiting to see which is better: xbox 360 or ps3 but halo is a great game and i am still shocked that halo 2 didnt come out for pc but halo 3 should be excellent gamplay, grpahics etc

Is halo 3 going to be supported at all by the xbox or is the 360 its proprietary system. I personally think that if not, they are going to lose sales because in my opinion the 360 is still pretty heavily prices to be feasible for many US consumers to purchase.
