ok i have (what i think) is a unique problem.

i was going to downgrade my psp from 2.00 to 1.50 and then to 3.40 oe-a

i got as far as tricking my psp into 1.00 to "update" to 1.50. unfortunately, my psp will not charge with an ac charger, so the update will not work, it says you need to have a charger plugged in.

now it is stuck there and i cannot play any games or demos.

my question is, if there is a way to revert it back to not being tricked into thinking its 1.00 firmware?

if not, then are there any ways of tricking the update into working without a charger or with a usbcharger(if that is possible)?

i dont know about the first part of your question. but the psp will not charge though its usb. is it your charger that doesnt work or your psp wont recieve a charge?

so how do you charge your battery??? do you use an external charger to charge it??? try charging it to 100% then run the downgrade, see if it will work... usually you only needs 75% battery life for making some updates...

Then how do you usually charge your battery if the charger doesn't charge through psp?

anyway you can bypass battery check and stuff by holding "L", maybe not L, but there's a button you can hold to bypass this check.
