There is a guide in the FAQ section for doing this: Using Recovery Mode to Downgrade to 1.50
AM4A1
or you can just upgrade to 3.52 M33.

now this sort of sh*t is really getting annoying. i know we're supposed to help each other, but i've seen lots of topics similar to this one yet every now and then another pops up. just a thought, would it hurt them newbies if they used the forum search engine and a little bit of common sense? dry.gif

ive been saying the same thing for a long time. new repeat threads is tolerated way more on this forum than i have seen on other forums. in my other forums half the responses to repeat questions is search, they dont even bother to help anymore.

I think it is a good thing that we tolerate people who ask questions that have already been answered.
New users are more likely to stay on these forums if you actually help them.

its good and bad, some stay, but most people that refuse to search and make their own topics, do so because they dont want to put any time into the site. they just want to get in get their question answered and get out. except for those that stay to leech downloads. i dont have a problem helping people and answering questions, i have helped quite a few people on this site, and answered many questions. but like i said before at least attempt a search. and if you still have questions make a post. specific questions are easier to address then general ones. and i feel that filling up the forum with threads that are similar or answer the same questions makes it harder for people to find stuff they need when they need it. because useful info gets lost in repeat and pointless threads. having 40 threads of i have version 3.1 or 3.3 how do i downgrade doesnt help anybody.

I know what you mean, but those threads will appear even if you reply telling them to search, and having loads of threads where the only reply is "search, you noob!", isn't going to help anyone.

for me it's kinda harsh telling that kinda thing to those who are new to the site, well all of us has become a newbie, we were not born to know it all...

For whatever its worth the one thing I've always a appreciated about this site has been how welcoming most people are to even noobs and idiots such as myself plus the lack of flaming (which cause me to leave many forums especially those related Castlevania). But I have to agree everytime I come to this board there is a new topic about returning to 1.5 especially "3.40 OE-A to 1.5" topics. You might try stickying a topic like "Returning Custom Firmware to 1.5" here, you have 3 "Best PSP Game Ever" topics there anyway.

I shall now return to lurking in the shadows of here and gamespot............

Edit: I put everyone instead of everytime sorry

I know what your saying but dude, you posted a week after i got all the help i needed and the problem had been solved. I dont see the point in reviving such a thread. Maybe the reason you keep seeing lots of these topics is because yo keep bumping them back up to the top of the list?

As other people have said yes i should have used the search i know that now for the futur. And thanks to the people that helped me!

You're welcome, se_p800. smile.gif

People don't tend to read pinned topics which is why we have an FAQ section.
