Do you think it's really worth it to have Linux on the PS3?
If you do, is it on a HD TV or a regular one?
What is the best version of Linux in your opinion?

Well i dont think its worth it as i already have a pc and will only be using my ps3 (when i get it) to play movies and games. Still it is a good idea but if i dont need it then i wouldnt bother smile.gif

If you will use it, yeah. If not, no. I have my laptop so for me its a big no. Maybe one day but I'd much rather use it for gaming/movies then as a cpu.

Its great for Folding@Home which goes to a good cause!!

Not really. The ps3 runs folding @ home without linux. I have it installed on my ps3 now...

Cool I didnt know that. I have been without a PS3 for 4 months......sad.gif

Yup. Now you know. The ps3's computing power is ridiculous. If you look at the folding at home stats comparing all the computers vs the ps3 (which is a drastically lower number) the ps3s like tripled the total processing power even though there were a lot less of them.
