They need to be in their own folder in the "GAME" folder; so something like: "ms:\PSP\GAME\FF7\".
corbula
there are 3 folders, 1 for each disc and i have put them in the game folder so it goes "X:\PSP\GAME\FF7-1 FF7-2 FF7-3" for each disc.

Yeah he said they showed up lol. You could try updating your fw. If not maybe try a different rip of the game. I know FF works so you should be able to get it running.

3.40 OE-A is a newer version and had better PS1 compatibility (I think).
But I'm pretty sure that FF7 worked on 3.03 OE-C (the one you've got).

I don't know if this works but you might as well try it; make sure the default kernel is set to "3.03 kernel" in recovery mode.
corbula
i read somewhere about the kernel so i tried 1.5 and 3.03 kernel but neither worked.
anything else?

If I remember correctly, 3.03 isn't very good on PAL games. (3.40 is better)
corbula
i don't think the game is PAL
corbula
what is the difference between 3.03 oe-c and 3.40 in terms of features and homebrew support and compatability?
