Well, I just used my PSP to download the latest Network Update and it was 3.51. So it looks like SONY may have patched the Lumines exploit. There is no confirmation yet but I think we all know what that means. Lets hope people have finally gotten wiser and don't all flock to upgrade to 3.51 just because it is something new.
I'm sure we will all await to hear from Team C+D on decryption.
So does 3.51 once and for all spell the end for downgraders? Please post your thoughts.

No, we'll just have another long wait. That's how it's always been.

as long as there are hackers trying to exploit the psp we will have homebrew because $ony is not very good at keeping the psp "secure" from hackers

If Sony was clever they could use downgraders as a marketing tool.
Make a new game (it doesn't have to be any good) with a 3.51 exploit in it and charge £50 for the UMD.

Well Sony capped the game prices in the U.S. to only $40 so games cant be any higher.
And now that there is going to be a 3.51 OE soon.
Regardless, DO NOT UPGRADE to 3.51 official firmware.

Yea, if Sony didn't want downgrading then they would have hacked it themselves and fixed their own mistakes.
but thats not likely to happen unless they think.
