In case you've been living under a rock you should all know by now about the "Illuminati" Exploit that was released by the Noobz team. Just in case you dont know, it allows any psp up to version 3.50 to be downgraded with the use of a umd copy of Lumines.
There are step-by-step instructions on how to use the downgrader and to help avoid any confusion and unwanted bricking, here is a video clip showing how you can perform the process.

everyone will love this because most people have 3.03+ and needs a downgrader haha.

sweet. now I'm actually going to be able to upgrade to whatever firmware. thanks bunch dude. btw, if anyone reads this, can you tell me how to upgrade to other ones, for example, 3.71 OEA or whatever the heck?

Wow!!! Great video NC! It takes all the fear out of hacking my new (used) PSP FW 3.40. The previous owner left a password in, I hope it won't cause a problem. I've got unpatched Lumines coming later this week (Ebay) woo hoo. Thanks NC, hopefuly I can post a success story next week sometime... Hover
