Be careful here. You guys make me sick in some ways. Not everyone is illegal and maybe you may assume that but in fact 99% are here legally and contribute to the economy. The UK simply would not function without migrant workers and im sure its the same in the USA. What actually gets on my nerves is the fact that many people complain about them but dont actually realise the shop they get there milk from, the company that makes their computers and there customer support agents are migrant workers or employ migrant workers. Then dont get me started on the people who dont work....who moan about migrants but dont actually work. Then most migrant workers come here because they can send money home and create a more stable life for their family and themselves. WHY THE HELL DO YOU THINK WERE PART OF THE E.U.

And I agree with allsorts111 that some of the replies on here have been really misinformed, xenophobic and close to racist.
The majority of migrants come to the UK and get a job, contributing far more to British society than many of the people who are already here. They are completely legal (including Polish workers as they are part of the EU).
Then others are asylum seekers (who would be in danger if sent back to their own country), and the UK is obliged to let them stay (I can't remember which treaty it was that said it).
Then a tiny amount are actually illegal and do want a "free ride"; but these are an extremely small minority, certainly a smaller proportion of immigrants than that of "British" people who do the same (live off unemployment benefits, incapacitance benefits - the ones who are faking it anyway).

Dude they do not put illegal immigrants in houses, they go into deportation centres and police cells...and the rest of what you said is messed up! why sony, do you waist your time battleing the homebrew community?, you are defeated everytime... hostoricly, encyption has been decrypted- from morse code to the enigma box, to blue-ray dvd to human genome... why waste the time, every time you come out with a more complex way to lock your little toy down, your just issueing a challenge that gets taken up by huge followings, and said following get better at thwarting you till the cycle starts over again...
i just briked a buddies psp because your silly ideas of intipiracy force me to install the firmware over and damn over again... tempting fate every step of the way... score one for you guys... but we are still in the lead.
and while im at it, whats the damn deal with the ps2s and the dirty disk error? eh? iv bought so many ps2s on account of this lameo error i gave up, following all the "re-aligning tuts" do nothing... the point is i still have the original grey flat ugly playstation and it still runs ff7 and 8 resident evil, die-hard and others... no problem, though my stack of ps2s grows yearly
then you turn around and expect me to shell out 600$ USD for another console? yeah ok metalgear looks great, but 600? are you mad? (yeah im complaining about the price, deal with it) i bet the damn thing is gonna start spitting dirty disk errors all over the place very soon...
for all your faults though sony... you still have a loyal consumer out of me... my sony vcr from like 8 years ago still rolls evil dead 1 and 2 like the day i took it out of the box, MY psp is rocking your band-name proudly and i wouldent kick your TVs outta my room... iv still got my old walkman... i bet theres a old primus tape or something in it to... it looks like a relic from another era, all scatched and faded.. built to last right sony?.. something like that... you you have your upsides...
anyway the point of our little conversations... i think we should start seeing other peaple.. just a short term break ok?, its not you,... its me... we can still be friends though right? when i see you playing with other peaple ill play to... im just not ready for the 600$ commitment right now ok?... im still in love with the psp

Initally, i disagree with everything you just said.
Lets start with the ''why do you battle hombrew''. Firstly, i do not beleive that Sony is fighting hombrew they are trying to deal with the piracy issue..which is assocated with homebrew and the homebrew community. Then theres the fact that if sont just allowed people to exicute homebrew there leading the door wide open to piracy which means lack of profit and in turn leads to a deacrease in the support by developers and the PSP dies. They also do it to give the PSP more functions and an increased multimedia experiece for those who update. Lastly, it shows they do not tolerate people who ''fuck'' with their handheld and it shows that they are willing to stick by something.
Further more, its good that your freinds PSP has been bricked! In Sonys eyes theres no legitinmate reason to need to downgrade and therefore its your own fault.
Also, i'd like to state that Sony has hardly any faults...they are a huge compnay and are higly sucessesful. Sure the UMD movies were not never sucessful but you only have to look at their other subsiderys to see their ability to adapt and transform to fit into an ever changing market!
Then only a noob moans at the PS3's price....it has power and has cosy sony a considerable amount of money.

well it was a fun little rant, and i agree with you wholehartedly about sony not have MANY faults, but every bigass company has faults..
and i never said it was anybody fault that his PSP bricked, but it would not have happened had i NOT HAD TO ACCEPT the responibility disclamer like a dozen times... i dont think its a good thing... and thats the last thing i expected to hear on this board...... sheesh... did i step on your toes or something?
and i WILL stand by the price of a ps3 being retarded, im all for expensive toys and all, and when a few of those exclusive games come out, that may make it worth it to me, know what i mean? a classic car engine in mint condition costs a big chunk of change to, but its not worth the money without the cash to buy all the other crap to put it together-
