PSP firmware 3.50 carries one important feature that's apparently been unlisted. Is that this latest fw release will finally allow commercial games to run at the PSP's full 333mhz CPU speed.

Interesting, I had heard that some games already used 333MHz (GTA for example) but that probably wasn't true.

I would assume not, seeing as no other firmware has allowed this yet.

Very interesting.........Hopefully well soon see gamesa that require higher cpu speeds.

On the downside, that will also mean less battery life.

to me, battery life is more important than frame rate and loading times
