In your opinion, what game is better NBA Live or NBA '06???

got to be live cant save with nba06 iso

not only does live looks way more authentic, you can play it online.

Live, it's fluid and fun.

i just got nba live and it was awsome. and its got some pretty good grafics

is there a NBA LIVE 06 and NBA LIVE cause i can only find NBA LIVE 06 and are u talking about the psp or the ps2

There are currently 3 NBA games for the PSP

1) NBA 2005 (sony's attempt)
sucked-- dont even think about buying it. It was rushed, its graphics sucked and had only a couple of cool minigames

2) NBA 2006 (by Sony)
a much improved version of the previous 2005, but still not well refined. Its okay but definitely not the best out at the moment.

3) NBA LIVE 2006 (EA Sports)
EA Sports' attempt. It's a translation of the PS2 version with toned down graphics and some options missing but yeah its multiplayer. It looks the best, it feels the best and its the most fun. Of course 2k6 is better but it wasnt ported to the PSP

I just grabbed NBA Live 06 on Sunday, and I have enjoyed it. I have had trouble putting it down to get some sleep. (LOL)

Personally, I think it was a great port to the PSP. It resembles the PS2 version with toned down graphics, and some addtional menu and game features.

I did purchase the NBA game that Sony put out with the PSP launch. It was horrible, and I took it back within 2 mths.

Overall, NBA Live 06 is a great options for portable bball gaming...

Ya, you're right techgirl; Sony's NBA sucks. I bought it & couldn't stand playing it. I'm about to purchase NBA Live. Does it force a firmware upgrade? I'd be suprised if it didn't. Can the version changer successfully fool it? If not, I guess I won't be buying it.

I played NBA Live on my 1.5 and it didnt ask for an upgrade. Dont know if it will ask 1.0 PSPs to upgrade.
