No Final Fantasy on Xbox 360

Square has finally cleared up any speculation and rumor. Past Final Fantasy XI, which has already been released, there are no Final Fantasy games slated for release on Xbox 360.

Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto disclosed information to Japanese company Nikkei BP that the developer is not going to be releasing any Final Fantasy titles on the Xbox 360.

Shinji's official statement during the interview was:

"For the Wii, we have FF Crystal Chronicles in production," replied Hashimoto. "As for FF on the Xbox 360, it's currently a completely blank page."

The Xbox 360 might not be getting any Final Fantasy love from Square but they are getting games like "Last Remnant" to fill that void.

Well to be honest, I am glad to hear this the 360 gets too many games and are already getting some of Sony's exclusive titles personally they don't need anymore, microsoft already forced Sony to stop making consoles thanks to there near infinate amount of money so they don't need anything else, microsoft needs to quit pushing the producers and creators of games to make multiplatform titles let Sony's possibly last console go out with a bang!

MS didnt force them out of the console business and I highly doubt this is there last console. As long as the ps3 does good in the long run, there would be no reason to stop doing something that makes you money.

And I am also glad the Sony is keeping the FF series on the ps3. But I kinda guessed that all along anyway.

really it wasn't MS? That's what everyone has been saying that MS put them down for the count because they have a near infinate amunt of money and could aford to sell their consoles for way cheaper than Sony just to outsell Sony in anycase >_< god dam*it I really need to quit believing everything I hear

They like Sony better.

I like Sony better too. If they would just listen to their consumers a little though everything would be nice.
