well so my friend and i tried to connect via ad hoc but couldn't. We tried it on 2 games, Burnout legends and Def jam fight for NY. He has the UMD's to those games but i have the ISO's of them dowloaded to my mem stick. when we try to connect it cant pick up the other signal or it just loses it. i think it might be bcause he has the UMD and i have the ISO. is there anyway to fix this without me having to buy the game? thanks

Wow, I was just wondering this today as well. I have an Iso to Mortal Kombat: Unchained and my friend has the UMD but when we tried to connect (Using Ad Hock Channel 6) we lost signal to each other. I wonder if it is because the ISO loads so much faster than the UMD does. To restate, any information on this subject would be very much appreciated. Oh, and I am using 3.40 OE-A

i had the same problem trying to connect with my gf to play puzzle fighter then i noticed mine loaded faster than hers so we just switched the connection order so hers had more time to load.

Wait, please go into details on this. I am still having troubles and if this works then this would be awesome. Please state in fine detail what you did. Thanx.

As far I know, there's no way to connect using Ad Hoc from the UMD disk to ISO files from two PSP's. It's either both PSP using the UMD disk with the same game or ISO files that saves in the memory will able to connect using AD Hoc.

well when playing puzzle fighter i was initiating, and since hers was taking longer than mine to load it would time out. so i let her initiate so she would have more time to load since mine loaded faster. but even still we were both on umd.

ok isos work in adhoc mode but DAX (dark alex iso) loads faster but has no adhoc mode. well its harder to play isos in adhoc and infrastructure mainly because the content is not on a umd and is on a memory stick which means the content reads faster thus you might load faster.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that is not fair.

my friend and i tried to play tekken DR, and this was the scenario.

> we both got the same game type (CSO) installed on our own mem sticks, same copy for both of us.

> i initiated the game, he opened gamed sharing from the XMB, and we were able to detect each other's PSP.

> when we tried to connect, his copy of the game wouldn't load.

any recommendations/suggestions/solutions to this? any help would be greatly appreciated.

With teken Dark Resurection, only one of you needs to have the game in order to play against each other. One of you guys must start the game and go to game share inside the game, the other must go to gameshare on the XMB. Hope it works for you.

that's exactly what we did, i used my other stick (w/o tekken DR) and opened game sharing from the xmb, we found each other's psp and tried to connect. then psp game load screen appeared (the one that flashes the logo then turns all bright) but later got the error msg 'game could not load' or something like that... sad.gif
