rolleyes.gif Well you can upgrade to 2.71 and downgrade to 1.5 via the tiff exploit.

Get the Offical 2.71 eboot from sony not a UMD.

Isn't this topic redundant now that there is a generic downgrader for all firmwares? there's an article on Q j.net the headline is called "downgrade from any firmware" all you have to do is run it and get the update file for the firmware you wanna go to.

Yes, this topic is out of date.
And there isn't a downgrader for all firmwares, only up to 2.71; I think the headline you saw was "downgrade to any firmware from 2.71".
If I have more time I'll write a more up-to-date guide, I already have the outlines of one for my own reference.

I tried downgrading to 1.5, didnt really like it, so I just went back to 2.6 and Im still there.

www.psp-hacks.com has a downgrader guide for every version up to 2.71!!!! its dang brilliant!!! i used it and it worked fine from 2.71 to 1.5 to 2.71SE-C

No internet or WMA, but I luc the hacking capabilities!!! I use Devhook and have both!!! 2.71 in the flash since I have a TA-082, but I may get a 1.5 PSP, and use Devhook for 2.71!!!

if you have 2.8 like your info states get the 2.8 downgrader. if you have 2.81 you have to upgrade to 3.03 and get the 3.03 downgrader with an unpatched gta:lcs. there are guides for both on here somewhere.

mph downgrader only works on 2.0
