ok, is it wrong to punish those who stand up? Is it wrong to tell those who have an opinion to keep quiet? I say yes to both, and I want to know what you think

Not always.....

If my "opinion" was that someone was a "worthless #$%@", what you say means that that person can't say anything back.

It isn't always wrong to punish those "who stand up"....if the way they "stand up" is destructive, then it isn't, if they politely express their view, then I'd say whoever is doing the punishing is in the wrong.

I don't know how others think of this situation

youre right bombers. and i think shinoda is referring to last night when he almost got banned for being beligerent and vulgar to people on the shout box. hes a disturbed little kid who thinks that standing up for whats right is speaking your mind.
shinoda , you are wrong in that aspect because you apparently dont know how to communicate in a opposing way w/o being offensive. everytime you are opposed in your opinion , ive noticed you lash out and insult the ones who oppose you . so in theory you are standing up for whats right only in your own sad little world.
