With me now getting a mod chip i have many games and i am getting more and more monthly. Read these reviews and help with what games to buy in the feature. You may request some games to be reviewed if you like?
SSX Blur: 4/10
I haven't really played this game much but there is a reason. It looks good on the cover and the screen shots look good but its not all that fun to play. Doing tricks is not all that easy to do so you do not win much and its all a bit confusing for a pick up and play.
Call Of Duty 3: 7/10
Very good game to play. With different ways to play such as certain missions you will have to drive a tank and hold the remotes in the position of a steering wheel give it a lot of realism. Downsides to this game are that it does not give you full help though so you can get lost on the map sometimes. Also there is no free play such as death match or tag teams only replay the missions you have done. Story mode is good to play just a little to short. www.callofduty.com
Blazing Angels: Squadrons Of WWII: 7/10
Another good game to play. Planes are moved by tilting the nunchuk left and right and up and down which give the enjoyment of a PC joystick. Good enjoyment when flying low over fields or just over the tops of buildings gives you the feeling that you are a master pilot. Although i love this game it has started to gather dust because i am stuck on a mission that is impossible to beat. Most missions only need one attempt which is good because you don't get frustrated when you keep failing. www.blazing-angels.com
Medal Of Honor: Vanguard 7/10
Very much a pick up and play, story line is not too sticked that you cant just have a bit of fun popping off heads! Enemy's on the game seem a little bit lost at times when they are stood next to you but they are shooting some on else?! The parachuting is a good aspect as you hold the 2 controllers as the ropes of the chute and move it like your actually holding it. www.mohvanguard.com
Zelda: Twilight Princess 6/10
Not my type of game, but it was ok to play. You do really have to follow the story line fully because theres not many things to do accept folow the story. You can get stuck at parts very easily so you have to be a puzzle type person. Another one of my games that is collecting dust because i am stuck.
Heatseeker 8/10
Very much for the action type people. If you shoot a plane down there is a giant fireball and you get a action cam that follows the rocket. Another game where you are the master pilot and you can fly low and shoot anything. Lots of real fighter jets that are used now makes everything seem so realistic. Although the let down is its not that easy to control, you point the WiiMote at the screen and move the dot around to move the plane and its not easy to do rolls etc.
Wii Sports 9/10
The best pick up and play i have seen. With baseball, bowling, golf, tennis and boxing there is a lot for everyone. Boxing seems to be my favorite but you do get exhausted constantly punching and jumping about for 3 3min rounds. Other parts of the game include training were you can touch up your skills at any of the sports with fun training objectives like landing balls on targets in golf. Also the daily training you can do is a hook for the game, you get 3 or 4 activity's to do each day and at the end it accesses how good you did and says if your best at speed, stamina etc.
Spiderman 3 8/10
Extremely hard and boring at first, but soon as you get the hang of swinging (took me about 30-40mins) you really get into it! I always loved the spiderman games for just swinging around the city pointlessly and this one is great for it. I haven't done any missions yet except the few training ones, so i cant really comment on the game play yet. I have noticed though that on when your doing a mission the characters that say little things to you they look at you then run off randomly?! Not very realistic but its nothing big.
Tony Hawks Downhill Jam 6/10
Well i have been a fan of the skating games ever since the PS1 but i am slightly disappointed at this downhill one. The handling is too sensitive and its not easy to use with the Wii controllers. Not a fun game to play at all and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you like using the disc's as frizbys...
