Hi

This is my 1st post.

I've just got a v1.0 PSP. I've been able to run almost any homebrew with no problems. I've been using hookboot to run a few ISO's with no probs.

I can boot Fastloader 0.7 with no problems (compiled EBOOT and EBOOT% to one file). I've been playing Metal Gear Acid this way but when I try to save the game it crashes and kicks me to the PSP OS. I can only assume its cos I'm running FW 1.0.

A friend of mine has had the same ISO's working fine with a FW 1.50 PSP (Fastloader 0.7), so I know they are OK!!!

Also I've got a Jap Puzzle Bobble. It crashes when I start the ISO. I can only assume its cos its trying to load a save game

Help please

Try upgrading your firmware to 1.50

Thanks, but I would rather leave it at 1.0 unless I really have to upgrade

there really is no point to keeping 1.0. the only difference is that 1.5 uses 2 folders for programs. There is nothing on 1.0 that isnt on 1.5.

WOW HONESTLY, you idiots, just freaking upgrade, are you going to use 1.0 when we are all on 2.0 ?

That happened to me too. Almost no ISO worked for me. I ended up upgrading to firmware 1.5 and I'm a happier man now.

A lot of the older ISO's will boot correctly with Dev Hook 0.22. This method will not work with newer ISO's under FW 1.0.

As for "being an idiot" for not upgrading......I'd rather you just didn'tbother with these pointless comments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
