seriuosly, threads that are not needed in forums should be deleted "normal member threads" they shouldnt be closed, waste of space.

Yeh but the ones that are spam ie someone keeps saying cool in them get deleted, but if there is a thread that is very useful to other members but people just spam in there it will be closed

But you could have a placed called recycle bin or trashcan or something for deleted posts or repeated topics.

There is a trash can, just only staff can see it, but isn't the trash can only using the same amount of space? yes it is. But this way you can still figure out what topic goes where when its been closed but if we did it your way there would be everything anywhere and it wouldn't categorised

plus some usless posts help generate traffic here by searches and what not so they have their benefits, though spam is deleted
