i do, very do find it very silly that You Can only edit certain posts, only certain sections can be edited, its kinda anoying and doesnt make sense why. also in the download section if you are the creater of the thread you should be able to post as much as you want in your own thead, i do understand the fact of others who posts for there downloads but why cant the person who madwe that thread post multiplte time, if you attempt to, it will just overlap the first post :addon the extra things you have joted down.

That is to stop people spamming in there own section, so i dont really see it as a problem.
I also think there is a time that you have to edit your own post by like if you create a post a 12:05 you must edit it by 12:10 or you can't edit it, am not sure on that

i know spamming to get more post counts, but why not make the posts no count but you are still able to post more than once.
