Looks really cool, Hi-Def trailer is worth catching if you can watch it properly. I think people are getting far too wound up about it being modelled on New York too, it's only a game for God's sake!

also in the trailer i noticed the statue of liberty is not holding a drink. shes holding a drink or something
also there are funny bilboards. one says americas next top hooker
the metlife building is called the getalife
also the police cars say lcpd
and in the scene where the peds are walking. one guy has no legs

Oh my GOD,
Always been a fan of GTA..
I was VERY dissapointed when I assumed that 'Saints Row' would be the only GTA type game for the 360.
It IS a good game with a good storyline,
but of course GTA will be MUCH better.

I do not own any next gen systems, but after seeing this trailer my problem is which system to get. I bought my psp when it first game out because I heard that GTA was coming out for it and so now I must do the same for this game. Cant wait at least now I have a little time to save my pennies.

it is coming out for the ps3 and the xbox 360.

there are rumors that it is possibly coming out for the wii but i think it very unlikely.


and i agree with you by saying this will be much better than saints row. no airplanes or helis in saints row

Plus,
besides the auto aim,
GTA is much more realistic then Saints Row
(movement expecially.. the motions in Saints Row are jerky in my opinion)

I am expecting this to much better then the other GTA games because this time they are use effect of REAL what i am saying there using real world things such as setting the store in NYC and using more real environments.
Well if the trailer is as good as the game this is only the beginning.

Dont forget though,

lets say...
Kid buys the game,
decides to shoot up his school.
Could be completely un-related,
but people will blame stuff like GTA, Rap music, Violence on TV
for stuff like that.
the fact that the game is based on a real life place,
and possibly real place situations,
will make people think that kid's will take it more seriously and realistic.
Which may be true,
but people think kid's are stupid and, seeing something realistic will make them do it.

I know what you mean but thats the point of age ratings on games...but there never enforced I'm 17 and have been buying GTA games since the very original game.
I have them all and bough those ones at a very young age. They were all 18's and me at the time not even a teenager was able to buy them...


But that aside I can't wait for this to be released!!!! Going to prebook soon!

I bought the game a while back, its hardcore. Super realistic physics and stuff like that. I can tell you it dosn't make me want to shoot people in real life , i can do that muc h easier in the game haha.

The achievements aren't very easy though
