i know it's called a 2.0 downgrader. but i don't want to upgrade from 1.52 to 2.00 first (if the downgrader won't work)
so, i tried it on my 1.52 psp:
the game could not load (80020148)
error message may be similiar (translated from german: das spiel konnte nicht gestartet werden).

so... who want's to to try with a 2.00 psp? c'mon!

and why do all the psp-news sites don't post anything about that?! i've first seen the black download page at 1122studios.com 8 hours ago. but news sites are reporting about white psp covers and shit

okay noob question. i will try the downgrader but where do you put the files. I cannot see them on the memory card to try and run them

put it into \PSP\GAME\DOWNGRADER on your mem-stick

then, you'll find it here: game > memory stick > psp update 1.50

just shows up as corrupted data. Hopefully they will say how to get around it on the 29th

To get the icon to show you need to put the eboot in a folder named UPDATE in psp/game

okay tried the update folder and the icon shows up

But

"the system software on you psp system is version 2, there is no need to update"
