OK i got a choice of a new system and i was wondering what should i get?

im not interested in the wii that much. all i like is the wii sports

ok i never had an x box console before but i was wondering if this would be my first.
i heard of the new ELITE comin out and it sounded ok. im interested with those xbox exclusives like halo, gears of war, the tom clancy games and gta 4 and saints row. but i dont really like the way its xbox live and profile is set up

im a fan of playstation. i got every playstation except ps3. i like gta but now i heard gta 4 is also comin out for xbox. im also not impressed wit the games out for ps3 right now. i really like the way the menu set up. it's just like the psp.

so what do u think i should get.

ps3 has tom clancy games and i would get ps3 cause its just better but its up to u

PS3 cuz it has MGS4! and we all know MGS4>HALO3 but the ps3 is more expensive than a 360 so its really up to you.

I agree with Kelz about MGS4 and don't forget about GT HD or HOME. The issue with exclusives is that PS3 doesn't have a large enough installed base to support major 3rd party exclusives yet. But all in all, like the others have said it's up to you.
One thing I would suggest, if you know someone with a 360 go play it. See if you like the controller, some PS people will never like the xbox controller and more than likely the reverse is also true.

The "elite" is just ms attempt to even up with the ps3, but not really. I'd go with the ps3 for the shear fact that it has much more potential for the future.

i would go for the ps3. imho the ps3 has alot better games then the xbox. Plus the xbox elite is just proving that sony is heading into the right direction.

Xbox 360 is the way to go right now at the moment. But the PS3 is going to take off and eliminate the 360 in about a year. I have both consoles and trust me, you will get bored with the PS3 fast. Once the PS3 has a good game selection I am sure I will be a PS3 fanboy and put my 360 to the side.

But if you only have the money for one and you see that the ps3 will become the winner in the end, why buy the 360 now? Just look at the list of games for the ps3 coming out this year. Then youll see that being "bored" wont happen.

you can also buy ps2 games and play them if ur bored of the ps3 games that are out now...

for 120 more bucks go with the ps3 you get blue ray player which an external hd dvd player for 360 is aready 200 and you get internal wireless this is another 100 bucks for the 360 so the price for ps3 isnt that bad if you think about it

Not really. You cant just say do this but give no justification. I say ps3 bc I think it will have a longer life span and will prove its worth as time goes on. Plus a ton of good games are coming out for it this year.
