it could be possible. he could just drag the files onto the ipod and keep them there. the ipod just wont recognize it. i use my mp3 player as a flash drive. all he has to do is hook up the ipod and take whatever files he wants out and put them on the PSP.

WTF are you talking about. the only memory that is recognized by the psp is the memory stick. the hard drive on the psp is only to remember cookies from websites save the psp background , settings , etc. so even if you put the hard drive in it probably wouldnt be able to play mp3's ,show pictures , or play videos. also when you put your psp in usb the computer wont recognize it if it doesnt hae a memory stick in it. unless the hard drive fits in the psp and something like the 4gb hard drive features like a psuedo memory stick. also your firmware probably wouldnt handle it. unless the custom firmware can be modified to handle as much memory as in a ipod. so i highly doubt it is possible.

youre a fucking dumbass! i was saying......................ok example:
files for psp (currently floating in space)
ipod (e:/)
e:/>psp files. there you go. files on the ipod.
then whenever you want them on your psp pull them from the ipod onto the desktop or whatever and then plug in your psp and put the files on the memory stick. jackass.

theres a VERY SLIM chance that it is possible. i mean, psp plays mp4 (quicktime) which is mainly apple.

Are you all on crack? Of course it's possible. Have you seen the 4gb HD for the psp i believe it's made by Datel? Well if you tear it open, there is a harddrive with the same connections as the ipod hard drive. It would take some formatting, but yes it could be done.

i can see it being used as a storage medium, so u can travel with games; no umd's, but u'd still need to use a computer to transfer files from ipod to comp HD to memstick.
portable hard drive that cost $400 basically
