how do i get cso to work on my psp with 3.10oe
S┼◄ÑKCH
CSO's work the same exact way on 3.10 OE-A as ISO's do... make an ISO folder in the root of your mem stick and put the cso in it. go to GAME under the XMB and select your iso and play it.. make sure you put a UMD in the drive unless you have it set up for NP-UMD mode

MAKE A FOLDER IN THE ROOT FOLDER CALLED ISO AND UR DONE PUT IT IN THERE

are CSO's faster then ISO?

What would be the reason to go with CSO's instead of ISO's?

CSOs are compressed ISOs (hence the "C"), so the reason for using them is that they are smaller than ISOs.
Since they are compressed, they will actually be more likely to be slower than ISOs, and lag more.

but csos take up less space than the iso on the memstick, and the games i have ,there really isnt that much of a diffrence that i can tell in the gaming speed. i think its a fair trade. i compressed all my isos into csos. ive heard that some games dont work as a cso but i havent come across one yet

if the usb drive the name is f: this is what you do, open f: drive=make a folder name ISO, there which is the root of your memory stick, place all ISO and CSO files in there, and load them using hombrew Fw whatever you are using, update Fw for campatibility reasons like for games require new fw's.

Iso are Huger files but tend to not lag like a CSo file, unless the repected cso file has been compressed well, it may not lag, but still depends it could still lag due many reasons.
