Downgrading 2.00 -> 1.50 method
-------------------------------

Requires :
----------

- PSP 2.00 (if you have an 1.51 or 1.52, update to 2.00)
- The 1.50 EBOOT.PBP update (http://shockzone.free.fr/PSP/Tool/EBOOT_1.50.zip)
- MPHDowngrader (http://www.chez.com/mph/)



Installation :
--------------

- Create a UPDATE folder in PSP/GAME/ folder of your memory stick
- Copy EBOOT.PBP (update 1.50) in UPDATE folder
- Unpack MPHDowngrader.zip
- Copy the frame_buffer.png in PSP/PHOTO/ folder of your memory stick
- Set frame_buffer.png as background
- Copy h.bin in root of your memory stick
- Copy index.dat in root of your memory stick
- Copy overflow.tif in your PSP/PHOTO/ folder of your memory stick
- Plug the AC adaptor


Then, enter in VSHELL PHOTO MENU, this will launch Version Changer.

Create an USB connection and if the Version Changer has been installed, a new file is created in your root of your memory stick (ms0:/index.dat.bak).

Then go to VSHELL GAME MENU and launch 1.50 update.

Follow the instructions ...

I Tried it out and lets see..

Okay, let me explain:

I Done the exploit and all the text and so on the screen was THERE.

Then i restarted my psp, and i saw on the usb connection from my PC, and the index.dat.bak was CREATED :D:D

I tried to launch the Firmware Updater and there stands:

"The System Software on your PSPTM
system is version 2.00.
There is no need to update."

So lets wait...

Well maybe they will end up somewhere, though I'd like to launch 2.0 from a 1.5 instead

I just tried this downgrader. It works!
It uses the binary loader by ... *damn forgot his/her name*
Any who... yeah I can run homebrews on my PSP 1.50 now.
No more 2.00!

I downgraded my euro 2.0 psp to 1.50 and it works great!

Sounds pretty cool.

I really love the webbrowser included in the 2.0 firmware.

The 1.5 hasn't got a browser included - is there a homebrew browser awailable ?

You can try using the Wipe Out Browser Rip Kit to rip a Wipe Out Browser or download a Tenchi No Mon browser rip.
