Hey guys. I just downgraded ( after a lot of patience for GTA to be free at rogers ) And Now i dont know what to do... ive herd things about this 3.03 Oc-E or w/e its called. But then i also herd about Devhook. What exactly should i do...

what does dev hook actually do??? does it still need 1.5 firmware inable to run???

When u downgrade u already have devhook on your FW.. It is used to load your homebrew apps and games..

how to actually use it? i'm browsing around and i saw that it can be used for upto 3.11 frimware, so does it means even without downgrading i can use devhook??? i'm currently on 3.03, what are the other stuff that devhook does??? can i also play emulators in it such as gameboy & snes???

Yes, you can do all of those things, jus put them into your GAME150 Folder, thats for HB, and Emulators, put all your ISO/CSO's into your ISO folder in you root folder, do devhook required, have fun!

You do not need DevHook because it is used for emulating higher firmware and loading ISOs, but 3.03 OE-C loads ISOs without DevHook and is already 3.03 so unless the game requires 3.10 or above you won't need DevHook.

DEVHOOK is only any good for people who don't want to mess about with the PSP's flash memory, which is fair enough. But I do believe that you have to be at 1.5 to use it. Anyway if your at 1.5 why not just use a custom firmware, after all if you do brick it, it can be recovered.

I've never actually run any homebrew on 3.03, but you can have a look at a couple of things.

Right, of course... the downgrader uses HEN which runs off the GTA:LCS exploit.
Sorry but it looks like you can't run any homebrew without an unpatched GTA:LCS UMD.

To get homebrew, I suppose you would have to:
- find an unpatched GTA:LCS UMD
or
- return / sell your PSP and buy one which has 2.80 or below

Give devhook a try, its what I use and its never failed me.

I try running a cso file on my 3.03oe-c ...but it dont work...do i need fastloader frist

It should work fine without any loader; I've got 7 CSOs on my memory stick right now and they all work fine.

Fastloader isnt needed. Usually when you have problems with isos/csos they are either a bad iso or you have a setting that needs to be changed.

i'm using 3.30OE-A, but i cant play MGA and MGS portable ops. should i use devhook? where can i get it and how to install it? does it able to brick my psp?

i use devhook, as it is safe, and dont flash the memory, and i can recommend this.
