Whats the story with the bars at the side underneath your name (MP, HP, EP)?

Only djp knows exactly what they mean.
All I've worked out is:
- posting increases your EXP, it increases by a higher amount if you've made less posts in total
- when you get to 100% EXP, your Level increases by 1 and your EXP is reset to 0%

If anyone knows what the MP and HP are based on then please post it here.

Why do the mp and exp bars move a little?

All the bars (unless they are empty or full) seem to "wobble" a little from left to right, I think it's just a nice visual effect.

i noticed my HP seemed to go up as i posted too, cos i had 0 yesterday. Still confused bout the MP though...

Only EXP goes up per post, and the HP goes up once you enter a new level.. and the MP i think is how experienced your are? the last part is a complete guess tho

I assumed MP was to do with post quailty and length.

^^^If thats the case this place needs some higher quality mods ...........

EDIT: Really mate you left yourself wide open for the that joke but on a serious note I think its something else cause awd888 post high quality posts I know cause he helped me out downgrading my psp.

im thinkin a post mabie like a spell.... does your mp go down after a post? does it come back a little the next day? if it was post quality that would mean there is somebody going over every post and deciding if its quality or not... thats lots of work....

I think it would make more sense for it to go up, so that it can be an activity count.

I'll watch my MP for a while and see how it changes.

EDIT: It looks like you were right, greenandgeewy; my MP has fallen to "97/1565" now.

Now to watch my HP: "1921/2044" while making this edit.

i dont think that is right because i usally post a decent length. i never just say kool or thnx unless its a download and i dont download alot.

Maybe he doesn't know himself, he might of went to add them, then decided he couldn't be bothered then forgot how to take them off, i dno lol

the mp is ment to be the average post per day, thats if djp did the same mod as the one i found says

oh.. that is quite a let down if it is correct.

I don't think that djp used that one then, because some people's MP is 0, and for others it's over 100.
For example, I certainly don't make 145 posts per day.

Yeh this had always confused me when I joined but after awhile I began to ignore them now this topic has sparked my interest again, although it has also helped shed some light basically I just made up my own meaning for it all as I went along I just use the MP, HP and EXP to determine whether or not I am as active as I should be (even though that's probably only part of the real reason).

Lmaooo this topic has got every body thinkin All i no is that when EXP: gets to 100% i change levels and thats all i need to no lol..

Crazy bars, they are kind of annoying.

If the mp bar did something special when it was full, then this page would be full of replys. oh yea
