Mm got it running biggrin.gif and itssss sweet!!! This is what i did after downloading this one: Winning_Eleven_9_Ubiquitous_Evolution_JAP_PSP-DMU

1) Applied the ppf patch (It was in the torrent) with a ps2 ppf patch tool.
2) User the WAB version changer to change it to 2.0
3) Used DevHook 2.1 to play it

Niceeeee game!! This one i gone get for Christmas on UMD, if it works with a fake 2.0 offcourse.

I'm having troubles. I did all that as suggested and also deleted a sound file 0_sound.afs but when I go to load it through devhook it just resets to the home page. I have firmware 1.5 and also ran the wab tool for changing the firmware name. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to do something with devhook? Cheers, I'm desparate to play this! sad.gif

Ok so i messed around a bit, deleted the update folder and put the sound file back in. Patched it as normal, installed devhook 0.22 and now I get a pre patch error?

What did people delete to get this to run on the 1gb card? can someone attatch their ppf file here and also which ppf file applicator did you use? Cheers for your help. This isn't as straight forward as other psp titles!

OK Another update:

I have deleted all the stuff i've got from the .iso file and have extracted the iso's contents using isobuster. Now the folder with files is only 912mb, about 40mb less than before blink.gif . So I've patched the boot file and have tried running the game with devhook 0.21 and 0.22. Both fail and 0.22 gives an error "pre-patch error".

Please could someone post their working ppf file and their ppf applicator. Plus if someone knows what i'm doing wrong please help. I'll be forever greatful.

PS, Do you have to put the ppf file on the memory card? If so, where? Cheers!!

Edit: I realise you cant attatch ppf files on here. If you can help me maybe you could use e-mail? Cheers

@Promoted

Don't have the ppf util here, but i used a ps2 ppf patch utility. Found it with google. When i'm at home i will give you the name Try looking here: http://www.megagames.com/psx/psx_ppf.shtml

I didn't rip anything from the game. (You can download a small version to) just applyied the ppf and run the game on 1.5 on a 1 gig stick.

did you apply the ppf to the boot.bin file or the .iso file. Also was it ppf-o-matic you were thinking of? Cheers
pspjapan
I applied the patch to the iso

Finally got it to work, I had to put the .iso file in a folder called "ISO" and voila. Only one stadium and no kit editing, also no master league! It'll do till pro evo comes out next month.

Its a great game dispite lacking features, but the analogue control takes some getting used to!
