Well I dont know if this has been posted before, but I think this is a pretty nice way to contribute to the community for all those great downloads . I bought a 4gb stick on ebay for $50 shipped, and recently found out it's a fake. Luckily Im disputing it now and plan to get a full refund.

Dude your crazy for not keeping this memory stick I have 3 of them now! They work just fine! They really are Toshibia's marked as Sony's.

They're terrible quality, and cannot write as much as genuine ones. Some even have 1gb chips in them but are advertised as 4gb!

Seriously I have 3 PERFECTLY working 4GB sticks I have used now for over 2 months. And I also have 4 2GB sticks that I have had almost a full year. ALL HAVE ALL THE MEMORY LISTED AND ALL WORKING JUST FINE! Guess its just the luck of the draw for some people. But in your case you haven't even tried it out.

Im not a fan of fraudulent memory, sorry. I'd rather get the real thing for a little bit more and actually have it covered by warrenty.

Guess its your loss bro. You should of thought about it before you paid $50 bucks for a 4GB card, you had to know something was up? Anyways on a good note, THANKS for posting that link for others to see.

50 bucks isn't impossible man. I got mine for 65 bucks on amazon when it was on sale. I can see 4GB selling for 50 in a month or 2.

Yea give it a couple more months and youll see em for cheap the longer u wait the cheaper theyll go

I hear if u goto the information [303 needed doesnt go in 271 or lower] and where it says "Magic Gate" Supporrted means real and unknown means fake!

I just got my 4gb card and was really pumped about it but, I cant get it to work. I tried to format it with the psp and the computer and still no worky. With the computer it got to like 99% formatted and then it errored. and now it wont do shit.

Glad I was able to shed some light on this for some. I threatened the guy I bought from and he refunded me immediately. I guess it wasn't worth it to him to lose his ebay account as well as all the business other innocent people give him for fake cards!

Good looking out. I bought a 4gb from Fry's about a month ago and I'm thinking about getting another one. Now I know what to look for when I'm shopping on ebay.

Ya I thought that a it would be cool to get one so cheap but it sucked that i got ripped off.

It blows my mind that so many are fake, even the Sandisk are getting hit. Something like 97% on eBay are fake now. I went to the eBay recommended sites and they did not even have any, go figure

you guys would be wize so skip the ebay and go strait to walmart. hahahaha the walmart controls all. it tells us to buy from them because they are trusted and all knowing lol

I bought from amazon.com. They gave me a special promo for some reason too, a month of amazon prime for free. So for 84 bucks I got a sandisk gaming 4gb, next day shipped for 2 bucks more.
