Ok the mobo has IC6001 on the left side same as this site says (http://psp.about.com/od/homebrew/ig/TA-082-Motherboard-Tutorial/TA-082-code-location.htm) so I pretty sure I'm pre TA-082 and it has it's original firmware which is 2.01. So I hoping someone here could link me to a good downgrader and tutorial cause like I said I'm totally new to homebrew, so I don't want to go googling myself into a bricked psp.....




P.S. Why acct here says I have fw 3.03, I got a second psp back in August with my phone plan (that or a free razor phone....) anyway it has fw 2.01 so since one my games' umd had upped the fw my first psp's fw to 2.6 I left my new 2.01 alone in case I got into homebrew one day (which hopefully is soon).

upgrade it to 2.71 and then use HEN D and Dark Alex's easy downgrader to go to 1.5.

Where do I get 2.71 firmware?

It involves upgrading to 2.80 then using the new improved downgrader to get to 1.50.
