Hi!

I baught a PSP yesterday and today I noticed a dead pixel on the left side of the screen. Its white.

I tried the flashing video (http://www.psp-spot.com/forums/index.php?download=377) but it didnt work.

Is there anything else I can do except for taking it back to the store?

hmm... run the flashing video some more? lol i dunno :S

Well, from what I;ve heard Sony doesnt take back the PSP with dead pixels, unless it's REALLY annoying and there are more than 5, so one dead pixel isnt good enough to trade... sorry man

Apparently it can take ages to free a dead pixel. Leave it running over night, it may take some time to remove it.
