seasons greetings everyone.
i am a psp noob but am very good when it comes to a computer.
so my question is i have a psp witha 2.71 fw with a ic1003 motherboard, i know i have to
downgrade to a 1.5 to be able to do the things that i want such as iso, snes roms, thats all i want
to do. i know that there are 2 options to choose fully downgrade to version 1.5 or emulate it through 2.71.
im leaning towards the emulate 1.5 through 2.71 method becauser this was a christmas gift from my aunt and i dont want to risk bricking it at all and there is no chance of bricking through the emulating method.

So what do you guys suggest and can i have a proper guide to the emulating method because all the ones
i see are for people with the TS-(forgot the numbers) kind of mother board.

first of all i dont think there is a 2.71 IC1003 downgraded but if there is I suggest you downgrade to 1.50 and then used on of the custom firmware those can downgrade and there are lots of fun and easy to use

ic1003 is ta-082...mine is same as urz but juz emulate to 1.5 n 2.71 n 2.82 n 3.02....nice eh??....
but therez a downgrader for ta-082..itz ur choice to downgrade n then upgarde a customfirmware...itz requires flashing,meaning possibility of bricking...HAPPY HOLIDAYS to EVERYONE!!!!!!!11

its pretty safe.. and also NOT.. if you dont follow every and i mean EVERY single step..

and remember you have to have HEND... runnin on your ta-082 (ic1003) in order to start the downgrader

I got the same thing 2.71 ta-082 and was able to downgrade to 1.5 then up to 2.71se then to 3.02 OE-A, which does everything I want for now. Just read and follow the steps. Goodluck
