Hi,

I have a TA-082, with HENB installed (and I think Devhook .4?). I can already play ISOs with it but I've only tried the older games. If i want to play the new ones like metal gear portable ops, sonic, marvel alliance(is this new?), do I have to update to HEND? If so, how do I do this and is there a risk for me to brick my PSP?

Thanks!

just download the iso and try to play it the same way but use devhook 0.51 port to ta-082 so u can emulate firmware 3.00-3.02

I found this link...

just a question, what exactly is flashing? If I have HENB and dvhook.4x currently, I have to unflash(?) it?

thanks

I read that installing hend and devhook is completely safe and won't brik my psp. So what exactly are the cases when I can brick my PSP accidentally?

The cases when you can brick your PSP are:
- upgrading firmware (even using Sony's official updates)
- downgrading firmware
- using programs like X-Flash (to customise your PSP)

One of the ways people manage to brick when upgrading / downgrading firmware is when they don't have their PSP power adapter plugged in and their battery falls out.

Ok, thanks!

I was able to install HEND and Devhook .51 without any problems

Before someone reads this and gets the wrong idea...hen DOES flash to the psp...but it flashes a new file not an existing one...which is as safe as it can get flash wise.
