So my brother has ben complaining that he can't use devhook on a 2.6 psp. So local mod on here stvnkch gave me some help. He said i should go to 2.71, so he sent me all the files i need. They were "hend", the 2.71JAP firmware, and the devhook. So, i know everything what do do with he "HEND". (stvnkch has already told me). Oh yeah btw, "HEND" works on any psp doesnt it. I hope it isnt just for the TA-082, cos i dont have one.

So now to the firmware. I know where to place it, but my question is do i need to delete any old files.

And last of all, the devhook. Would i just copy all folders over to the root of the meory stick.

And please don't try and tell me to go to these custom firmwares, cos all my brother wants to do is play homebrew, and he doesnt want me to downgrade cos he thinks i might "brick" it.

the admin here said i just should run 2.71 SE-C. Would that work on a 2.6 version? btw, it was originally 1.5.

yeah you can use 2.71 SE-C or the 3.02 OE-A but you have to downgrade to 1.5 first and how is it that the psp wont go above 2.60 does it just not read it or what
