Consider this:

I have found out that there *is* a USB mod for devhook 0.51, but it is only for using the 2.71 firmware on devhook 0.51...

now here is the catchy part..is it possible to put a 2.71/3.01 hybrid in place of a 2.71 in devhook 0.51, and try starting a USB connection on that...??

this, way you are still using the USB only with a 2.71, and you are also getting the benefit of 3.01 FW...

i havent tried this yet though....but its an idea...

why dont you just use devhook to emulate 2.71 and use the 2.xx-2.00 thing in devhook that should work

you already do that now....if you dont do that, i think games that work properly with 2.71 anyway, wont work then.....2.xx to 2.00 does not play any part in this...
