Hey
This is probally going to sound really stupid, and it does 2 me 2, i upgraded 2.71 se-a without really knoing wat it was thinkin that it was just osme other kind of devhook when i got into, it i liked using the devhook i had b4 so i tried turning it off like in devhook but it didnt get back 2 1.5 and then i did something even more stupid, i formatted the mem stick and when i turned it back on i did some more research and found out that it was a firmware
now the recovery and upgrading programs 4 the se firmwares dont work because it doesnt have the right files so are there any recomendations on how to get bak 2 1.5
another way that i was thinking was if ne1 knew where 2 get the files for 2.71 se-a so that it would b just like i hadnt deleted them, then the recovery might work again
Cheers

I haven't used this myself so I can't confirm that it works but you can try this:

all u have to do is go into the recovery menu at boot by pressing L then this blue screen will show up then once u do that u go into launch psp/game/recovery then u do so but u have to have the 1.5 update labled update.pbp then it will take u to a somewhat similar screen to when u got se-a then u just press X and then it will format ur flash and install 1.5 and then bam ur back on 1.5.......
but one thing u should update to se-c me personally i think its way better than 1.5 ..... i can do everything i used to do on my 1.5 and more i dont' need devhook for iso's no more i can just launch them right from the xmb via the game menu.... and i can also load most of the homebrew i say most because some flash homebrew don't work correctly but i can also get the internet flash player and everything 1.5 and 2.71 has to offer all bunched up in a little lovely packet called 2.71 se-c!

get the files from the se-a you downloaded in the PSP->GAME->RECOVERY folder....copy it to your memory stick and then go into recovery mode and run the recovery

that doesnt really make sense but my advice is to use recovery mode, sort it out.
I stick with the most stable of things and do not use custom or hybrid.
simply, 1.5 and emulated 2.71
